Imported Microcurrent

Imported Microcurrent Wellness Device Regulatory-status Project

Reconstruction of parameters, intended purpose, authorisation documentation and the NMPA submission system for an imported microcurrent device.

Background

An overseas manufacturer planned to introduce a microcurrent device into China. The product involved pulsed current, electrode contact and wellness purposes, requiring an imported-product regulatory-status determination.

Regulatory Challenges

  • Microcurrent can overlap with neuromuscular stimulation, rehabilitation and treatment uses
  • The overseas instructions and proposed China purpose followed different language and regulatory logic
  • Parameters, control software, electrodes and test evidence needed to form a complete evidence chain

Project Work

Basic Law organised the overseas manufacturer’s dossier, representative authorisation, operating principle, parameter ranges, use method and supplementary testing, and managed the NMPA classification-determination project.

Key Insight

An imported product cannot simply copy its overseas market positioning. Before entry into China, it needs a China-specific product definition, intended purpose, instructions and evidence system.

This page presents only authorised public information and does not disclose client trade secrets, full submission dossiers, critical raw test data, or directly replicable parameter boundaries. Ongoing project content reflects only the current stage; product status must still be independently assessed based on actual purpose, structure, parameters, and evidence.
